Performance IQ has developed an economical and easy-to-install networked power meter system for use on commercial indoor bikes. The Smart Studio system ranks individual and team performance on a screen for the class to see. No two indoor cycling studios are alike therefore the system has been designed to be scalable and easily customized to meet your specific needs. The power meter devices are discreet, sleek and designed to work in any studio environment. Installation can be completed in less than a day.

Smart Sensor

The smart sensor works with each bike using a sensor technology to monitor brake pressure and flywheel RPM. It then transmits that data wirelessly to a receiver which collects and formats all the group’s data into an easy-to-read rank display. For studios that have existing bike computers, the system synchronizes with those computers to transmit that data to the display.

Central Processor

This is the brains behind the Smart Studio system. The laptop comes with customized software that decodes the signals from the power meter devices and displays the data in rank order. The user interface allows the group instructor to change viewing options on the display and break the class into teams. The key strokes are minimal and can be performed easily while riding.

Display

Depending on the size of the studio, this can be as simple as a mounted flat screen television. For larger spaces, a ceiling mounted screen with a projector may be preferred.
